If anyone could suggest me the solutions to get rid of virus and especially "funny virus".

My computer is highly effected with virus and main is funny virus. I can't format the hard disk as very huge important files are stored. So it will be much better if anyone could suggest me some solutions to get rid of it.

It is a very effective and free anti-virus program.

Do a boot scan and it will remove all the virus and trojan

on your PC. Even those that hide inside the system restore folder.

System volume information folder is a part of system restore

where trojans love to hide because your Anti-Virus

or Antispyware programs cannot get to them there.

This prevent the virus from coming back after restart.

After avast get rid of the viruses. Use CCleaner to fix your Windows registry.
