  2. The only ones I know of for 13 year olds would be like babysitting, watering neighbors plants, pet sitting, taking in there mail.  I'm not sure you can get a job at a store until you're 15.

  3. I'm pretty sure that you won't be able to get a job until your 14 unless you have connections.

Maybe minor jobs like babysitting and stuff.

  4. Most places will not give you a paying job until you are 16 (I think it's probably a child labor law thing and concerns company liability).

However, there are places that will allow you to volunteer and I have seen those turn into paying jobs later on.

Your local library, for instance, I've seen them take volunteers as young as 12-13.(consult the blue pages-inside the white pages-under city or county libraries).

A non-profit organization is usually very eager for volunteers as they always have more work than they can handle with basic staff. (consult the yellow pages for that).

From time to time a restaurant may allow bus staff at age 14, it all depends on the owner, most likely in a family-owned business.

Most of the larger churches, like mine~First Evangelical, Memphis, TN~depend on volunteers to man their coffee bar, on Sunday's and for major concerts, etc.  It's sort of like a mini-Starbucks like you'd find in a bookstore like Barnes & Noble (only we use Ugly Mug coffee).

I know you can get a paper route at age 14, actually younger than that, as long as you are a responsible young person. (Though, come to think of it, I think most of those jobs probably go to adults now~too dangerous for kids, in this day & age~unless you have an adult or older sibling who can drive you around for your deliveries and collections).

At 14 my daughter, worked at the Lichterman Nature Center, in Memphis, sort of like a nature conservancy.  She helped with their day camps during the summer.

I think they accept volunteers at the zoo during the summer.

Often, if you are related to someone who owns a business, they will let you help out there, and give you a bit here and there for your effort.

I started working part-time at age 12, summers, some evenings, some weekends, for my Dad who was a psychologist, and had a Christian Counseling practice.  As I recall I got $3.50/hour. Of course, that was a long, long time ago.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Hope you find what you're looking for!

  5. walmart.........any eating joints?

  6. Well, in my country, you can work in macdonald's or Yoshinoya. But then maybe you can also try small shops like toy shops or shops that sell daily accesories.

  7. well , sadly you have to wait until you are 15 and a half which is whack

    =[

but what you can do is go to little shops

that are not chains and u can get little jobs

and you can get paid "under the table"

    try like small hardware stores

but no big company will hire you
