If asked how you would improve certain aspects of your office, what would you suggest?

I love this question.  I'm dealing with this right now.  I'm the employee in a five business chain.  Locally owned and operated by the two owners.  

What I would change is the time management of the two owners.  They work hard.  I mean really hard.  About 65 hours a week each.  High stress work, without real breaks.  The thing is, so much of the work they do could easily be done by me or other co-workers.  In addition to that, they work so much that they lose track of the overall goal.  Their tasks are so seldom focused on goods and services.  They're always working on spreadsheets, and hanging balloons, and shopping for paper and pencils.  Someone else should be doing that stuff!  Focus on paperwork, buying new products to sell, and selling the stuff we have!  Let the pee-ons do the dumb stuff.
