    frequencies, sure.

    If noise is defined BY SOMEBODY HEARING IT, no.

    However, I have never heard anyone use the latter

    definition other than when asking this very question.

    Of course it makes a noise.

  4. Yes.  Noise exists whether there is a hearer or not.   Air waves carry the sound across the vicinity. Only is outer space is it soundless.
