If attacked by a shark, what is the best solution to fight it off?

Although the nose is highly sensitive & hitting it may work, the gills are even more sensitive, so--grab the gills--dig your fingers into them or hit them or something.

Well like in Jaws if you happen to have an extra air tank just lying around you could always try and get it to chew on that. But incase you don't i would probably try and kick it in the nose if you know you won't accidently land in it's jaws, umm I've heard punch it's gills and eyes, and I would think try and stay behind it rather than infront of it, if it's possible.

Supposedly sharks don't like the way we taste, so it shouldn't stick around too long unless it's crazy. ;D

DO NOT punch it in the nose that usually does not work, punch it as hard as you can in a soft spot like the gills
