  1. No. My baby teeth came in crooked, and I was trained to push them with my tongue so that they straightened. Now, my adult teeth are perfectly shaped! Anyways, they have braces, if you really think your one-year-old needs one.

  2. Nope .. my baby teeth were crooked & my adult teeth are straight, didn't even need braces.

    Otherwise, there's always braces. :)

  3. not necessearily.....i had perfect babyand all of my  teeth when i was 4 adult teeth came ion crooked..then i had to get braces.in summation, no not neccerasily

  4. You are smart to be concerned, but right now the only thing you can influence is weather or not your child sucks their thumb (hopefully not). The permanent teeth will likely start to come in at around age 6 or 7. It is at this point that orthodontic problems become apparent. Because the bones will still be growing, it's an ideal time for an evaluation to determine what orthodontic treatment, if any, may be needed. If treatment is indicated, they may be able to address certain issues, such as crowding, by helping the teeth to erupt into better positions. Braces may still be necessary, but the severity of the malocclusion could be minimized with what they call interceptive treatment.

In short, everyone here is right. If you are looking to find out if your child will need braces, you are more likely to find the answer by looking at your child's family history.

  5. once the baby tooth is gone, the adult tooth comes in. if the adult teeth start to come in crooked at first, dont be alarmed because once all the other adult teeth come in, they might move and become straight(it happened to my brother...but not me). if the adult teeth dont become straight, then i would recommend braces if affordable^_^♥

  6. Maybe, depends how crocked it is

  7. Not necessarily. Sometimes if the baby teeth are very close together this can be an indication that things could end up crowded, but not always b/c some children have larger baby teeth and smaller permanent teeth which allows some extra room.

  8. I doubt it. My son's baby teeth were perfect. His second teeth were $4600.00 worth of horrible.

  9. No baby teeth do not indicate what adult teeth will be like. Besides there is always braces.
