If beauty isn't that important?

why do people talk about it all the time and make reference to people who are beautiful? Why don't people refer to someone's intelligence or kindness as much since these are better traits are they not?

That's the sad truth...i wished people would open up their eyes and see that beauty is only skin deep...intelligence and kindness lives on forever..But u cant change anything.that's how it is in this world..

Age old question! Its because society puts so much emphasis on how someone looks other traits are put aside which is ridiculous because in a lifetime you are really only beautiful (ie young) for a short peroid or time, our priorities need to change dont you think??

Most people only look at the superficial things in life.No body goes beyond what they can see.If they all did, then the world would be a more compassionate and peaceful place to live in.everyone just thinks about what they can achieve for themselves first before thinking about others.

because beauty or uglyness is the first thing u notice when you see sm1 withought knowing them, the other caracters come later when u get to know the persone!
