Question:

If (big if) Garret Anderson reaches 3000 career hits, will that be enough to land him in the Hall of Fame?

He is 36 years old, and needs 677 more hits to reach 3000.

  1. yeah it should take him about 4-6 seasons if he stays healthy and he will get in in my opinion even without those hits simply because of what he has done for the organization and because if he doesent get to 3000 hits hel be very close


  2. that is a really good question at first.

    i think if he would have just had more seasons with an average above .300 then yes.  but he's done a lot of great things for the Angels like in the world series game 7 he hit that bases clearing double, which really won them the game.

    idk though, he might retire next year which backs up for that big if.

  3. Man great question and great stat. Out of all the players that are close to 3000 he is one that I think would be least likely to make it but they take all hitters with that number so yeah if he does it he's in.  

  4. Yes, it would. He's got a good record without it, but 3,000 hits would seal his deal.

  6. He probobly wont get it, but if he somehow manages to do it, than yes he deserves to be in the HOF, just like any other that reaches that mark, except those totally juiced on Roids lol
