If blondes are stereotypically associated with "Easy" or "dumb" why do girls die their hair blonde?

My hair is naturally blonde. And its REALLY blonde

And i get angry because people automatically think I'm easy and dumb.

I always get those blonde jokes aimed at me.

When someone tells a blonde joke everyone looks at me like they are expecting some sort of reaction. But i just sit there and give them evil stares haha.

One of my friends is brunette, and she is the easiest and dumbest girl i know. But somehow people always think im easier and dumber.

When in fact im not at ALL. Im actually hard to get and smart.

Girls dye their hair blonde, because they think men prefer blondes. Some girls would rather be considered attractive by men, than to be thought of as smart, etc.

Well to be honest, the only reason why I dye my hair blonde has nothing to do with being dumb, easy, or what a guy wants.  When I dye my hair blonde, my skin tone tends to look darker- like I'm tan- and I just typically look healthier.  I think though the next color I want to dye my hair will be red though, but I am a little reluctant because of the fact it might make me look pale skinned.

You automatically look twice at a blonde, but a brunette has to be SPECTACULAR just to get even a passing glance.

Why not? If you know you are not easy or dumb why would you care.  I highlight my hair because it looks good with my complexion and eyes.  I am not "Easy" or "Dumb".  A stereotype does not prevent me from doing anything.
