I'm not a New York resident but I listen to one of these stations on the internet. That's why I'm asking if I or someone wants to go to New York and want to listen to one of these two stations on radio how to tune and find the exact frequency between WCBS-FM and JACK FM?

  1. You have to buy an HD radio...to Jack FM..

A regular FM radio will pick up the oldies part..

  2. OK, this was huge news a couple of months ago. CBS replaced JACK-FM with the original format OLDIES. There had been a huge uproar when they changed it to JACK two years ago, JACK didn't do that great, so they moved JACK to one of the new HD channels and plugged oldies into the FM frequency 101.1. So, unless you buy an HD radio, you will only get WCBS - oldies at 101.1

If you don't want to buy a new HD radio, maybe you'll run into someone with an HD radio and you can listen when you go to NY. I think they've sold at least 10-12 of them so far ;<)

    (Inside joke).

Or you can listen to their stream at the new JACK-FM website (below).
