  1. Because you have no life.

  2. Cannabis is not addictive in the same sense that opiates are addictive. Opiates physically alter your metabolism, so that once addicted, you'll get sick if you stop using them.

Addiction to cannabis is like addiction to video games, gambling, or shopping. It's a pleasurable activity that becomes compulsive for some people.

  3. There is no physical dependence to cannabis, meaning you aren't gunna die from withdrawals and vomit and seizure all over the place like you would with other drugs.

That doesn't mean you aren't going to become dependant upon it, it's like with alcohol. You know you have a problem when you start having thoughts like "Oh it's only fun when I smoke.." blah blah blah. Basically someone who is "addicted" to pot just become dependant upon it for recreational value.

  4. Is cake addictive?  No.  It does not create a chemical imbalance in the body causing withdrawl symptoms if a habitual user is deprived of cake.

But I know some fat kids that I bet are craving cake right now.

Neither is s*x addictive, nor video games, nor foozeball, but you can crave any of them.

Just because you crave something does not mean it is addictive.  It may just be awesome.  Like cannabis.

  5. People can crave any action that brings them pleasure.  This is not addiction in the sense that many drugs are addicting.  For example, if you stop smoking, you'll just want it.  If you were a heroin addict and stop using, the withdrawal could KILL you.
