Question:

If capitalism, socialism and communism don't work, what DOES?

Capitalism - Disgusting system where people are left behind, poor and uncared for.

Socialism - Much better. Take a look at Sweden, it's great, but people are STILL left behind.

Communism - There is too much greed for this system to ever work around the world.

Does that leave us hopeless? Or is there some other, unheard of system that could work?

  1. The New World Order is gaining a lot of popularity.

  2. I believe the key is to take what works from anyplace you can get it, including the systems you mentioned.  I also think that when people adhere to ideology instead of of practicality and humanistic principles, it leads governments and countries to  bad decisions.  Ideology for its own sake is quite destructive to individuals and mankind in general.

  3. No.... it has to be a combination of the 3 which the world hasnt thought of yet& or the government is to stupid to agree too

  4. Capitalism DOES work, it's just that the richer people need to do more to HELP the people who are left behind.  Socialism works too, but the poorer people don't have the CHANCE to have as much help because the richer people aren't as rich.  They both work if you have a good balance, but Communism just never works, plain and simple.  I think a cross between capitalism and socialism is the thing to aim for.

  5. No system of government is perfect, each kind has it's own pros and cons.

  6. Capitalism

    Definition from Wikipedia:

"is the economic system in which the means of production are owned by private persons, and operated for profit[1] and where investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are predominantly determined through the operation of a free market.[2] "

Capitalism could never work because it is based on the premise that everybody wants to make more money than everybody else and only the needs of the rich and powerful are considered. If it is the whim of one of these selfish pricks to help the poor then sometimes it happens, but usually as in most western societies it is left up to charity.

The Government are controlled by the capitalist powers and basically they don´t give a toss for the man in the street. Anybody who does not see this is a complete moron!

    Anarchy would be the best.

The definition I prefer (again from Wikipedia):

A theoretical social state in which there is no governing person or body of persons, but each individual has absolute liberty (without the implication of disorder).

I believe that people can be trusted to treat each other well and behave sensibly without an abundance of laws or law enforcement methods. No borders and freedom of travel would be a further bonus-

However, the the fact that a very small number of people like to control others really ruins this one too, they always manage to turn it into dictatorship.

Democracy ( usually capitalist) is a very bad idea. For example, if 51% of the people think owning a dog should be illegal then the other 49% would have no choice but to comply with this rule. Democracy oppresses minorities even if they make up almost half of the population.

And Modern Democracy allows corruption to take place very easily as the only people who can run for election are people who have funding, meaning only large corporations agenda´s can ever be considered.

But then again it all depends on what you mean by work?

The most successful nations (in terms of money and power whilst not giving a toss about the working man/woman or the poor) have always been Oligarchies (dictatorships) in the past and the present. You may think that the USA is not a dictatorship, but I would urge you to look at who´s agendas are really being pushed and how much attention is actually paid to the constitution when following these agendas. And this is regardless of who is the President/figurehead.

Socialism only leaves people behind because of corruption. Eliminate corruption and socialism would be much better. and would be my second choice.

  7. Todos los sistemas, son perfectos en teoria,lo imperfecto, son los hombres que los manejan,a conveniensa, porque se les sube el poder a la cabeza....

  8. Something that will take the best of both systems since what is in China is not communism any more  nor is capitalism what is in the US ( maybe

multi national corporatism would be a better word).  Anyway, time for fresh paradymes and changes in order to insure the collective survival of the planet.
