  1. The reuable states don't want it reverted.

  2. Ok, all you atmospheric scientist. Can you explain the math behind how carbon dioxide effects the atmosphere. I think not...so shut up on stuff you do not know about.

  3. Of course we can by bringing more live potted plants indoors to improve the work and home environments.

"Common indoor plants may provide a valuable weapon in the fight against rising levels of indoor air pollution. Those plants in your office or home are not only decorative, but NASA scientists are finding them to be surprisingly useful in absorbing potentially harmful gases and cleaning the air inside modern buildings.

NASA research has consistently shown that living, green and flowering plants can remove several toxic chemicals from the air in building interiors. You can use plants in your home or office to improve the quality of the air to make it a more pleasant place to live and work - where people feel better, perform better, any enjoy life more.

TOP 10 plants most effective in removing:

formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide from the air.

    Common Name  Scientific Name

    Bamboo Palm  Chamaedorea Seifritzii

    Chinese Evergreen  Aglaonema Modestum

    English Ivy  Hedera Helix

    Gerbera Daisy  Gerbera Jamesonii

    Janet Craig  Dracaena "Janet Craig"

    Marginata  Dracaena Marginata

    Mass cane/Corn Plant  Dracaena Massangeana

    Mother-in-Law's Tongue  Sansevieria Laurentii

    Pot Mum  Chrysantheium morifolium

    Peace Lily  Spathiphyllum "Mauna Loa"

    Warneckii  Dracaena "Warneckii"

  4. Carbon is (or can be) recycled naturally.  The problem is that we are releasing Carbon into the atmosphere infinitely faster than the Carbon can be recycled back into the earth.  The result is a slow, planet-wide suffocation -- or Global Warming.

  5. good question

  6. well, global warming is a bit more than carbon dioxide, besides if it was carbon dioxide only, why not plan a bunch of trees

  7. if you mean using radent heat for energy we cant use it because we need a temperature difference to generate power.

if we want to remove CO2 from the atmosphere plant photosynthesis is the only practical way.

  8. Basically, burning coal in an electricity generating plant makes energy and CO2. To take CO2 and turn it back into coal you would need to use the same amount of energy. But if all our energy comes from burning coal in the first place, the best we could do is use all the energy we got from burning it to take the CO2 away, which would leave none left over to run lights or refrigerators. It would be the same as just not burning the coal in the first place.

  9. Heat is generally the 'waste' from many of our activities and it is hard to convert it to anything really useful, unless you can concentrate it and use it to generate high temperatures  - enough to boil water etc.

It would have a net zero impact, it is like trying to pull yourself up by your shoelaces.
