  1. If it is illegal I will not do it.

  2. There are laws that we all see a majority of people violating, and not being charged... for instance driving 10 km over the limit.

We derived in a democracy that we have redefined that law by persistent public violation. Ultimately government will yield and get us back into compliance.

This principle says basically that if we all do it, it stops being illegal, in fact if not in law. But those who push the envelope first, those who decide that the law as written does not matter, are not more in violation than the  millions who take legal liberty later.

Democracy tends to be one awfully cumbersome tool when it comes to getting foolish limits moved out. So we know that public disobedience is just part of the way we drive  forward our democracy.

Now there are clearly problems with this line of thinking, just as there are problems with the assumption that when we collectively make a decision it is a moral obligation to obey it.

In reality we the voters do not have a vote that means we are making that decision. Some bureaucrat has put it into the law book. We have little buy in for it.

  3. nope, because it's not healthy

  4. morals are for the weak, just joking, i support all our laws pathetically.  And i think once i was doing them out of just personal desire i would follow them a bit better.

  5. define illegal it is all for medical purposes!
