My family is being watched by social services. My husband is in the Navy, our last day in is August 21st and we want to move back to Ny, but they expect us to go to all these parenting classes and psychological evaluations, take our kids to be tested, etc. They're making it impossible for us to visit Ny to view houses or look for work. They say if we move, we have to tell them where to. What if we don't? What if we say "to h**l with them" and go home to Ny and never come back. What's the worse they can do to us? We were accused of neglect because our house spent 2 weeks being messy (I wasn't feeling well) and my son had an accident (which he wasn't hurt from AT ALL btw) and my neighbor made up many lies about us.

  1. just tell them that ur moving

or what you can do is find out something that your neighbour does to their children/child and call child protective services

you should take thos classes so that you can call on the slightest things on your neighbour

  2. they will put your *** in jail ! so don't give then no reason , if you really love your kids do the right thing and take the parenting class that may help you in the future.

  3. I had CPS in my life and ruin my life and marriage here! Well you go to NY take son with you can touch him their! But if Judge said you can't leave then don't go! Wait until you can go and you don't have to say where you go until case is closed! Good Luck and get son back!

  4. Legally, if a judge has imposed all of this stuff on you, you must do it.

If a judge is not involved you can move out of the jurisdiction.

  5. There's more here than you are telling.  You weren't feeling well, so your house was messy.  Child Protective Services doesn't get involved over a messy house.  And why couldn't your husband pick up at least a modicum of the mess?  If your neighbor was making up lies, CPS will soon figure that out.  Leaving town and not telling them makes you look guilty, and they will become even more involved in your life.  They have the ability to hunt you down, and with your husband being in the Navy, it's even easier for them to find you.  Just tell them you are moving to New York and won't have a definite location until you have found work and a home.  And what can they do to you?  Take your children away from you.  And if you think you have it rough now, wait until you have to start fighting to get them back.

  6. If you have a court order and you violate it by leaving you could be found in contempt and make it way worse for you. I

  7. CPS agencies everywhere are like their own entities and do whatever they want. Unfortunately, you'll have to do what they ask or you'll probably lose your kids. The kids should have a laywer and so should you, from the court or your own. I thought that the military should have something to say, as well.  You should'nt be trying to move but be looking for answers of your own, It is not unusual for kids to be removed from dirty homes. It happens all the time.

  8. It is better to do as they ask, reguardless of how big a pain it is. if you move and don't tell them, when they find you, they can extridite you back to that state and put you in jail.

sucks, but that is life sometimes...

  9. Children and family services is for nothing more than to harass people.  You have special rights since your husband is in the military.  They won't tell you about that.

But it's quicker to just go to their propaganda classes and give them the answers they are looking for.  I'm sure they know that your husband is in the Navy.  Do tell the judge that you need to move out of town/state because of it.  Try to get a place on base so they can't harass you at their conveniences.  Since the military is on a federal insulation,  they are not subject to allowing people on base just because of a state order.

Also, purchase a mini tape recorder.  "Whatever" you say to them or they say to you, record it!  I wouldn't necessarily tell them that you are recording what they say to you either.  I've watch these people lie in court before just to win the case!  The bigger they can make the story, the better their chances are of getting the Governor of their state to give them more money at the end of the year!  You just happen to be one of their puppets for the moment.

"I feel like they're trying to force us into a bad situation so they can use it against us."

THAT'S WHY I SAID GET A TAPE RECORDER!  They are not above doing that.

    Update:

"Child Protective Services doesn't get involved over a messy house."

Beenthere, your comment is not necessary true.  If Children and Family Services are needing more money from the state, they are not above that.

Children and family services workers know that the laws have been set up were you can't touch them as individuals.  In other words, above the law.  The fact of the matter is, these people are protected by the law on issues that even police officers are not.  Ponder that!  That why they are so corrupted.  Of course, they prefer to proclaim that as only an opinion....Don't they wish!

I wish you all the best!
