  1. That usually depends on how he has then.

To that nash3 guy,Deron Williams. He plays Chris like 3 times every regular season. This way you're comparing them on a 1 on 1.Not comparing who is the better team leader and player.Sorry, you're mistaken on how to compare.

If Deron owns him every game they play together, look now whose stats is better.Does Deron owning Chris every time they play make his stats better than Chris?

No,and it doesn't make his team better either.

    --------------------------------------...

You can see that Paul is obviously the better one leading his team with him being the runner up for the MVP voting. Not to mention that Carlos Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko in the Utah Jazz were injured for a full season, hence the weak record of the Jazz. That's one all star.

Hornets' did have 3 guys injured, but only for 30+ games, they were just sucking like they were 20 years ago.And look what happened when Chris came.20 wins became 55.

What's more is that Deron can't play D more than Chris.

    d**n.

    Regular Season:

    Chris Paul:21.1 PPG,11.6 APG,4.0 RPG,2.7 SPG,0.1 BPG,2.51 TOPG.

    Deron Williams:18.8 PPG,10.5 APG,3.0 RPG,1.1 SPG,0.3 BPG,3.40 TOPG.

    Playoffs:

    Chris Paul:24.1 PPG,11.3 APG,4.9 RPG,2.3 SPG,0.2 BPG,1.83 TOPG.

    Deron Williams:21.6 PPG,10.0 APG,3.6 RPG,0.6 SPG,0.3 BPG,3.08 TOPG.

Oh my god,I'm drifting so far away from the question.

Like I said,it depends on how many it actually is.And if his stats is actually the same.

  2. steve nash is past it the suns are never gonna win a championship with him.and i dont think chris paul is the best pg i think deron williams is look at the stats when the hornet play the jazz more often than not williams owns him.im taking nothing away from chris paul is he a amazing player .if rondo could develop a outside jumper hes gonna be better than all the pgs in the league but its a big if

  3. no beacuse chris paul got them those wins but he would still be good but not famous like he is now

  4. yup. the stats don't lie

  5. He is one, since his rookie year and his name should be put up there with the Steve Nash's, the Jason Kidd's, and the Deron William's.

I think those four are the barometer of PG excellence in the league right now.

    Hope this helps.

  6. if he had the same stats, yes

  7. yes

  8. Yes because he had the most assists, more than Deron Williams and Steve Nash, averaged over 20 points, and made his whole team better, making this garbage player  Tyson Chandler into a great big man and even made David West better coming off his best season in his career.

  9. Hey Todd,

Great question.  Well if the Hornets weren't winning games Chris Paul would not have gotten the accolades that he got.  But i think objectively speaking- he plays the way he plays- and his play merits him the discussion for being the best point guard in the game presently.  But i don't think people who have taken notice of his play if he wasn't winning.

    It's kind of a catch-22.

That being said- there is no argument that he is definitey one (in my opinion presenlty the best) point guard in the game- though Deron Williams should be in the discussion as well.

    Nickster

  10. obviouslu cuz he wouldnt have played so well.

  11. yeah, hes good no matter what the record his team gets. its just that he wouldnt get much fame and wouldnt finish second in the mvp race (probably not even make the mvp race) if his team didnt reach the 50 win mark.

  12. yeah hes got his own shoe line up with Jordan.
