  1. I dont know because they thought it was just not right so they made them

  2. you took my question!

maybe they wanted words that they can't say or words that are mean to people that they do not like

    heres a question for you:

what up with the middle finger cursing thing?

  3. I don´t know. I curse all the time and I don´t give a **** what people think of me for doing it

  4. That's like asking why do people steal. They obviously do it to have something they can't have. People curse to express themselves in ways that they can't express with normal words. I don't curse but I do see a definite difference between "Back off!" and "I'll f*** you up!"

  5. Somebody was the first serial killer too but I wouldn't recommend it. I read once that some curse words originated during wartime.

  6. Bad words were probably created by bad people.

  7. Because anger, frustration and hostility are all valid human emotions and they need words with which to be expressed, just as every other state of mind does. There is nothing language can't do. Perhaps a better question would be why we feel that the words are negative or inappropriate. I'm a big fan of the profane myself. I find it very useful.

  8. cursing is calling down evil upon someone.Cussing is the use of words that have had there original meanings changed,Such as B**ch ,a female dog.Fornication under Court knowledge, was condensed by taking the first letter from each of the words and somewhat changing the meaning.people created these words just because they could.Probably as a way to verbally vent anger.

  9. Cursing is bad because it's reflecting mental frustration. When you come face to face with an obstacle, it happens often that  you can't do anything about it but express your frustration verbally. And it's exactly when curse words were invented.

It has to do with being able to show that you can control your emotions and states, and refrain from vulgarities. People seem to appreciate that a lot, I've noticed. They say it's what makes the difference between us and the animals. Personally, I think a little animal openness wouldn't harm us.

  10. Some words that were originally considered profane have become much less offensive with the increasing secularity of society. Others, primarily racial or ethnic epithets, can be considered part of hate speech and are now considered more profane than they once were.

The offensiveness or perceived intensity or vulgarity of the various profanities can change over time, with certain words becoming more or less offensive as time goes on. For example, in modern times the word p*i*s*s is usually considered mildly vulgar and somewhat impolite, whereas the King James Bible unblushingly employs it where modern translators would prefer the word urine (2 Kings 18:27; Isa 36:12) or urinate (1 Sam 25:22, 25:34; 1 Kings 14:10, 16:11, 21:21; 2 Kings 9:8).

In general words express a purpose and curse words fulfill the purpose of allowing us to express negativity and the base aspects of our personality, a negativity that has been with us since the dawn of time.
