If destiny hero diamond dude is on the field and I activate his effect and discard a spell, then I use monster

gate on him and get a new monster to the field. But after that I reborn him, can I use his effect again and try to discard another spell. Cause on upperdeck it says if you use book of moon on him then his effect resets, so shouldn't his effect reset if his is removed from the field and brought back the same turn.
