  1. The only pets we would be allowed to have as pets would be

the Herbivores, the ones that eat Vegetation, etc.

Here's a list of all of them:

    http://dinosaurs.about.com/od/herbivorou...

If all of them got loose, I would suspect all of us to have a Helicopter base. And if a certain Human hating dinosaur

got loose, the Helicopter would go above it and put a net around them. Or maybe even darts to make it fall asleep.

But I don't think we would keep them at a regular zoo.

We would need to make a whole new zoo - just for the

dinosaurs. Hahaha. We can call it.... Jurassic Park!

No just kidding. But if you have ever seen the movie,

you would see that the dinosaurs are kept in a huge

gated arena. AND electric fences which are probably

the most important thing when keeping a T-Rex (or any

other type of Dinosaur) from Escaping.

  2. Well humans lived at the same time dinosaurs lived, so I am sure that through the years we would have learned to get along by now. Like you said, some would probably be pets, others in zoos...still some in the wild, but people have a way of taking care than not many animals still live in the wild, don't they?

  3. we'd probably cook 'em...mmmmmmmmmm, tastes like chicken!

  4. Dinosaurs do live in the 20th century; some of the are alligators and crocodiles, but most evolved into birds.

The meteor that spelled the end of the dinosaurs gave rise to the age of mammals; our rabbit like ancestors could survive where the bigger dinosaurs could not.  If that meteor had never struck then you and I wouldn't be here; mammals would still be small animals and a major diet choice on the dinosaurs menu.

Most likely an intelligent form of dinosaur; similar to a velico-raptor would have evolved instead of intelligent mammals.  Those where the slightly larger than a man, fast moving, pack hunting villains of the Jurassic Park movie series.  They were probably the smartest dinosaurs that ever existed.

Since reptiles developed first we call the primitive part of our brain the reptile part, and it is true that reptiles had much smaller brains; but life was still new and the pressures of life and evolution would have caused those brains to develop increase and grow.  Crocodiles don't are masters of their domain, apex (top) predators just like sharks so they don't need a big brain to survive.  The chimp makes an easy meal for a lion so they had to get smarter to survive, it is just one survival strategy like the stripes on a zebra.  It is also the survival strategy that created humanity.  Since humans came out on top if a dinosaur ever evolved into a smart creature it would also have a bigger brain.

The meteor that ended the age of the dinosaurs gave our ancestors and other mammals a chance.  Without it the dinosaurs would still rule.  As it is the smaller ones that survived evolved into birds.

For more on that meteor collision see the source I have cited below.

  5. Probably about the same way we handle lions and tigers today.

    Some would live in zoos

Some would be poached, because they killed livestock or because some culture decided their claws are desirable as jewelry or for medicinal purposes

  6. we would certaily have to take something larger than a baggie with us when we took them for a walk around the block.....wouldn't we?

  7. they definetly wouldnt keep dinasaurs as pets they probably would keep them in really tight zoo's. people wouldnt let them run all wild definitly after seeing jurassic park.
