  1. Slang for how many kilometres one has travelled is "Klicks"  for instance... "what's the klicks on your vehicle."  in other words "what the mileage on your vehicle"

  2. Mile ------> Mileage

    Kilometer ------> Kilometerage

    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.ph...

  3. Mileage more often means wear (e.g., "that car/woman/rumor/p***s has a lot of mileage" ), fuel economy or airline award program.  I don't think it gets much use in countries using the metric system.  Those folks instead use terms like "wear," "fuel economy" and "airline award program."

  4. K's

  5. Yeah - K's   ("Kays").

    Example -   20 K's to the nearest town.

    That's how we say in Australia

  6. In my language (Russian) it's Километраж (Kilometrage). I suspect it originates from French language.

  7. well, i think Kilometerage would be the word as been told. But I wonder, in my country is used kilometer to indicate a distance and I really didn't find an word in romanian that indicates the distance in miles as mileage. and i think one doesn't even exist

  8. According to Collins dictionary (and I tell you...it´s very very thick) the only two words that appear are kilometer and kilometre,which is the same,and kilometric.

    Although it´s not in the dictionary,kilometerage sounds good to me....I think it probably exists anyway...sounds familiar...

    In my language (Catalan) it does exist ...

  9. kilometerage

  10. It is called meterage. Bear in mind a kilometer is a thousand meters, a mile is a mile, hence, mileage and meterage.
