If dreaming of Ancient Egypt would be consider Archetypal or Mythical?

Well have you ever studied ancient Egypt? Is it something you know a lot about? Or ave you just seen a movie about it?

I think it would depend upon what exactly in Egypt or having to do w/ Egypt, you are dreaming about.

Pharaohs (or you in a powerful position)? Archetypal.

A million Egyptian adventures w/ no center theme? Mythical.

Jung may say that Egypt is archetypal because it is a 'mother-country' so if you were to have a lot of dreams about Egypt (and feel some kind of connection to it) this would automatically make the situation archetypal - b/c it is centering around a theme of connectedness that you feel to the country (as a child is connected to their mother - the mother archetype - you are connected to the country).
