If everyone applied for border patrol or formed private militias, would that get the illegals out of the U.S.?

What other measures could be taken along with these tactics? Should the U.S. crack down more on employers who hire illegals and apartment complexes that rent to them?

I did drywall for 6 years so we can assume the person who thought only illegals do drywall is just another lying pro-illegal, we sure do have a lot of them nowadays. They ran out of facts to defend criminals and now are using lies.

Make penalties very severe for anyone who hires them and punish the illegal immigrants severely and throw them back into the Rio Grande and make them swim back to Mexico.

Best thing to do is demand that fence be built..you or the US cant do anything to stop it, we can invade Iraq and take over the country,but we cannot stop an illegal ? Give me a break.The laws are on the books it is just a matter of them enforcing them

you or the US cant do anything to stop it, no matter what they'll always get around it. give it up and look at the bright side, ur not gonna be picking oranges or putting up drywall are u?

There are a number of ways that conscientious citizens can help combat illegal immigration.  Do you know any employer which is hiring illegal aliens?  Get all the data you can and call the ICE Hotline.

Is your neighbor an illegal alien collecting welfare? Report welfare fraud on your state's Hotline if the child is an "identity-theft baby" (born abroad but the parents are using the birth certificate & SSN of a US-citizen child, dead or alive), the husband lives there, either are working under the table, they have a slick new SUV, anything which indicates unreported income, etc.

Know an illegal alien (or employer) with under-the-table income/payments?  Unreported or underreported income, etc?  Call the IRS Hotline and report tax fraud.

A friend's foreign spouse is committing marriage fraud?  Or an H1-b visaholders used forged "credentials"?  Explain how you know it is fraud when you report it to ICE.

Are the illegal aliens gathering outside Home Depot, the donut shoppe or anywhere else harrassing you or causing other problems?  Complain to the manager/owner of the business/company where they are hanging out and their corporate HQ, file a complaint with the local police if you have legitimate grounds for it (e.g. they try to grab you or some such), or join the Minutemen and photograph the people who hire them (get the license plate # of the vehicle which picks them up in the photo).

Research, verify the data, and report -- report -- report!

Yes the gov't should crack down on employers that hire illegals. They should be given stiff fines if not shut down. The gov't itself should be punished for giving freebies to them also.
