  1. Yes, you would save at least 5 eyedroppers worth of gas for every gallon you burn.

  2. Cars are designed now that when windows are closed or open the drag is the same.  So no it wouldnt matter.  Matter of fact they did that experiment on Myth Busters.

  3. yes. and most current cars advertise the fact that with the air-conditioner blowing full force it is more fuel efficient than having a window down.

but man that takes me back to my childhood...

  4. It would also create a lot of gas inside

  5. It depends on whether the car is more/less or the same aerodynamic with the windows closed verse open. The more aerodynamic a car is the better mileage it gets period, assuming the other factors remain constant. Most new cars are the same aerodynmicly both ways. Older cars are more aerodynamic with them up (usually).

  6. No because your AC would have to be on.

  7. yeh, it would. and it would save even more if everyone drove at the optimum speed, which is something i have forgotten what it is.

  8. Don't you wish???

  9. yes gigglebear

  10. Having the windows up does make the car more areodynamic, but unless your over 45 it doesn't make a significant difference.
