How could you possibly enforce it? That would mean we'd all just share everything... Right?

  1. and the follow-up question, "are Mime's given the right to remain silent when they're arrested?"

  2. mm well how would you even know if you stole anything? like you'd just pick up something by accident and pretty much it wouldn't be "stealing" it'd be like an accident.. and it couldn't be enforced b/c no-one would have a job in the world pretty much and everything would be free.. and we wouldn't have stores and no internet and by like a year everyone would die b/c no-one can feed there self since you can't really find food.. and half of the world would be dead before starving b/c they fell in the ocean or something..

  3. No more than it is now.

  4. In my opinion, stealing from another is not okay whether you are blind or not.  If everyone agreed to make it legal, it would be.  But it has to be agreeable for all.

  5. I don't think you've thought this question though. of course the world as we know it would be different. everything would be made to compensate for the lack of sight. Like mechanical controlled transportation. crosswalks that made noise. but people would still have personal possessions that they wouldn't want stolen.  just because your blind doesn't mean that your helpless.

  6. what ? haha idk i guess noone would notice but what u had is still your so it would b taking it and u never know who took it so it would be leagal coz noone could do anything about it.

" sir what did the criminal look like?"

    "ermmmmm"

    idk i guess not

  7. the real question is can anything be free.

    nothing is free from money.

    its the paper.

if you go and you are really hungry for food it would be honest stealing

  8. Stealing is wrong (and has a quantifiable impact) regardless of the 5 senses.

  9. No, but I imagine stealing would be a lot harder.  "Gee, I sure hope this is a jewelry store we're breaking into!"  "Nope, feels like a bathroom."  "d**n..."

  10. I'd say probably not cause we would have evolved into a way where we can "see" things with other sences

  11. What you're doing is thinking of people being blind in this society. If we were blind life for us would be completely different. By now we would know how to do everything by touching, smelling and hearing. If someone wanted to steal they would still be able to do it so you still had to implement laws against it.

  12. Reference the 10 Commandments:

    Thou shalt not steal.

As a guide, that works for me in any circumstance.

  13. no, unless what is being stolen are manhole covers...
