  1. Your car is only part of the issue. Hellloooo, plastic? That liter  of mountain dew you just drank and threw out the bottle? Plastic, it's made from petroleum. When the clerk asks "paper or plastic?" why not "neither" and bring your own bag. Then there's heating oil, is your house insulated, dual pane? Or are you burning oil there too.

    Reduce, reuse, recycle.


  2. Don't set fire to your car.  It will melt the wiring to the headlights, which you will need when you convert your car to electric!

    However converted cars are banned from NHRA drag racing.  Apparently it's seen as unfair that the driver just pushes a button and wins.

  3. Besides the pollution that would be emitted, then probably yes. Demand would go down, decreasing the price of gas. By the way, there is plenty of gas in the world, it's just demand is going up, and OPEC isn't drilling for more oil.
