  1. GOD "IS" LOVE!

The only power Evil has is the power you give to it. The Divine Presence created all things and saw they were good. Whence comes the evil? Not from God. It comes from man's inability to understand the "whole" of God's divine creation. Man, with his limited intellect, can only see a part and by not understanding the whole, he condemns the part.

The world of the senses, of effects, is a realm of duality. It is by wisdom that man learns to blend the opposites and reaches the midway point of spiritual insight. The Bible says, "Let thine eye be single and thy whole body shall be filled with light." This means we must learn to discern with spiritual insight and not just judge by what our physical senses relay to us.

The visible is temporary at best, it is based on physical elements in the form of matter which we think of as real, but it is not. The physical will eventually dissolve into its original elements. It is the "invisible" that is real and eternal. I think this will lead into another topic. Later.

  2. Evil only exists in the world for balance.  This way we have a choice as to how we want to live our lives.  God gave us free will to decide.  Those of us who love God will always love God no matter what.

  3. Of course HE would. He is our Father and our Creator. He would be loved just as much.

  4. I suspect that most religions were intended originally to explain the unknown rather than to comfort those who saw evil around them. So, I think God would still be loved (if he existed...)

  5. It's the evil that creates hate in the first place.

So, remove evil and hate and God would be loved MORE.

    Peace/Joy

  6. no he wouldnt, my dad brings that one up all the time

  7. If evil didn't exist then goodness would not exist either. Therefore there would be no need for god.

  8. The reason many people love god is because they believe he gives them the way to know what evil is.

"25) Peter said to him, Since you have explained everything to us, tell us this also: What is the sin of the world?

    26) The Savior said There is no sin, but it is you who make sin when you do the things that are like the nature of adultery, which is called sin."

By the way, I'm a naturalist, but the basic message of Jesus seems to be good, so I don't feel weird quoting the passages I agree with.

  9. NO!Think:good can not exist without bad and the opposite.People can't be absolutely bad or absolutely good. And God create people or if you dont believe in God, people create God and evil.

  10. Read Isaiah, Chapter 45.  According to that, God created evil.  He says so himself.  Makes you wonder if that's the reason he did, doesn't it?
