  1. no. it takes longer than 1 life cycle for a species to evolve.

  2. Yes, and you're halfway there, so keep on growing, baby!

  3. No.  This would be like saying that since you and your cousin share a grandfather, your cousin must grow up just like you.  We did not evolve from chimps.  Chimps and humans evolved from a common ancestor which lived several million years ago.

  4. NO. Humans didn't evolve from monkeys. We came from species similar to them though like Homo Habilis, Homo Erectus, Neanderthals.. stuff like that. People think we came from monkeys because they looked a lot like monkeys and the species are very similar.

  5. No...not exactly! Even if it lived for millions of years it would not develop human like qualities because each generation does nt change during it's life....the change occurs over many generations. So...it would/will grow into a normal adult chimp.

You see evolution takes millions of years....and doesn't happen to a single animal but it happens on mass and very gradually...it's like how they say the population is getting taller....in 1000 AD and such we were on average shorter! What you're talking about sounds more like puberty! And if it were true what would human babies turn into?!

So no, the baby chimp would turn into a nice adult chimpanzie  very similar to it's parents!

Any other questions? Do you get it?

    Goodluck have fun!

    ADDED.....

For example, Arctic Foxes....they have incredibly thick warm fur which they have developed/evolved into having because the species have lived in the arctic for millions of years, and due to the extreme cold over a LONG time their species have   developed thicker fur. Meaning i guess each baby fox will have the tiniest (and i mean tiny!) bit thicker fur...so gradually you start to see a tiny increase....and after millions of years they have thick fur...meaning they are meant for the artic reagein and have lived there foir a long time...unlike relatively hairless humans!

    Ok hope i helped!

Oh and it is only still classified as a theory not truth because people do not agree with it due to religiona nd such...and as another answerer said...who beleive an almighty being conjoured a human female from a man's rib! I mean no offense to anyone with this opinion! You can think what you like...some think evolution is bollocks others think it is silly to try to disprove the facts! It's a big debate in which i wish not to enter! It's the whole chicken and the egg debate thing! Well goodluck!

  6. No.

*Individual* organisms do not evolve - so the baby chimp grows up to be an adult chimp.

*Populations* of organisms evolve, gradually, due to accumulated mutations and selection.

  7. Yeah, that's why evolution isn't true.  That's one of the many reasons why it's still a theory, because proponents of evolution have not been able to work out why this doesn't happen.

  8. yes and if you put jeans in the dryer long enough they turn into trousers

  9. No, that would be magic, which we both know does not exist. It's as ludicrous as suggesting that a female could come from a man's rib.

    .

  10. Yep. And pink faries live in my shoe closet.

  11. If the theory of evolution were not true

    , then what?

    Your logic is:

1 True, then a baby chimp must grow up into a human.

    2. False, then a human baby must grow up into a chimp.

I suggest that you talk to your biology teacher.

  12. Ummm...nope. Two chimps make a baby chimp. Two humans make a baby human.

Evolution just doesn't work like that - go read up on it.

  13. I respect people's rights to believe what they want to believe, but personally, I think [not] believing the Theory of Evolution is completely silly.

    _________

d**n, I was wondering why I got so many thumbs down, I didn't put 'not.'
