  1. Faith is only a virtue if you do not have the curiosity to question the unknown. If human beings had relied on faith we would still be in the trees - unless of course you don'y believe in evolution.

Short answer - no on both counts

  2. Faith is a virtue, but proof is not a sin.  God has provided so much evidence for His existence and that Jesus is God.  God does require faith for life in general, however, God isnt about blind faith.

  3. Apparently to some, LOL!

  4. faith and proof are not opposites.

  5. Faith is NOT a virtue -- indeed, it is the ultimate evil: it the deliberate refusal to use the one capability that distinguishes the species from all others -- the ability to apply logic to evidence to reach sound and useful conclusions.  And, of course, proof, when obtainable, is a virtue.  In the real world, proof is difficult, as it usually would require establishing the validity of a universal statement.

  6. No, there will be no proof per say. To give proof would be like giving away all the answers to your final exam. Sure we'd want the answers, and it would make things easier. But would we really learn like we're meant to?The closest thing to proof I've found is in reading thousands of near death experiences.

  8. Faith is not a virtue!

Virtue is what is added to your faith!

"And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;..."
