  1. its too sad but i have to say that

    yes..........

  2. ?

  3. yeah, well both ur answers will be yes.He will not be able to break samprass record and if he manages to come back to no.1(by chance),it had to count again from zeroe wks.................

  4. yes

  5. yes he will !!! hahaha !!! he will lose the to spot !!!

  6. Yeah! If he manages to regain the #1 ranking at some point he`d have to start again from scratch.

  7. You are confusing the records. One is consecutive weeks (federer's) and the other is total no. of weeks (sampras' ), and the last is consecutively ending the year as no.1.

Federer already holds the record of longest consecutive weeks as the no. 1 player. Pete Sampras however is the only player to have finished as ATP No. 1 for six consecutive years (1993–98) but in the middle of those years he fell in and out of the no. 1 spot.

Federer still has a chance of breaking these records if...1) he gets the no.1 spot back by the end of the year (I don't see it happening though) ... and 2nd) If he gets to be no.1 again for another 49 weeks in any time of the rest of his career, since pete's record is 286 weeks and by next week federer will have been no. 1 for 237 weeks (this is still very possible). Federer's record will end next week at that same number since nadal will take over the following week. hope I've cleared everything up. If you have any more questions just ask.

  8. He's been #1 for 200 and something weeks, and that's his own record. Sampras maybe was #1 for a longer period of time, but not consecutively. Thing is, Roger made history and nobody will take that away from him :)

  9. I'ts sad but true, but not consecutive weeks, overall weeks, which he can still beat if he gets there again.  He has the consecutive weeks at #1 and Rafa has the record for consecutive weeks at #2.

So far things are not going Roger's way.  He still is the best and hope he can beat Pete's Grand Slam Record.  That is still able to be done.  Depending on how much longer he plays will depend on Grand Slams in a consecutive year, but unfortunatey I believe he has given up on the French Open.

    It's sad.

Bon Mot has the answer above.

  10. Federer did better than all of them.  He was at number one consecutively longer than anyone including Sampras.   Now when Federer gets back to number one, that will be added to his total.  Sampras was number one longer so far but not consecutively.

It's not going to start from '0'.  If Fed gets back to number one and I think he will it will be added to his total.  It won't be consecutively but it will be added to his 237 total.

  11. yes, everything was lost, man. Now, Rafa is d #1. If Roger be back to top again, then he'd start back from 0 zero.

If Roger won't succeed, he'd be retiring soon, just like Henin did.

If that happens, Jokovic will be d new guy in town to beat.

For now , Roger is d greatest of all times. Coz' all d past legends agree on that as well as the whole world of tennis fans.

Good day to ya all folks

  12. Yes! Hahahahah! Go Rafa!!!
