If fedex shipped something to me and i wasnt home that day?

they didnt leave a note or anything like ups does

Depends on whether the sender indicated to have a signature. They generally do not leave a note and they try the next day. The person or company that is shipping the item to you should have a tracking number and you can look up the status online with the tracking number or you can call with the tracking number and they will be able to give you more info.

they should have just left the package with a receipt. maybe you should call your local fed ex store.
