... then why don't feminist shout, rally, picket, lobby and threaten their way into getting special rights for men in cases of domestic violence like they did for women?

Why are feminists so against equality for men?

  1. your asking this question all over the place.  get over it.

  2. Like the ancient amazon women, feminists often hate men, but at the same time they behave like men, and are often lesbians. They certainly seem to be "equal" to men.

  3. no one, besides, radicals, are remotely against equality for men.  and women stood up for women's causes.  men can stand up for theirs, too.

  4. They aren't against equality for men, and repeating this false statement will not make it true.

  5. i have wondered this myself! they have pretty much gained their equality now but they still feel the need to make men pay for the way women have previously been treated and go as fas to try and make women have a better quality of life

  6. Because feminism isn't about the idea that women = men. It is, however, about the idea that DV law for women = DV law for men when applied correctly, which is the responsibility of judges in the family court.

  7. I would not fret much. Feminism is dead now that we have seen what 40 years of it gets you...nothing except girls gone wild, teen pregnancy, and women in service related jobs while women in political office ignore manufacturing job losses and coddle the homosexual agenda and not to mention 50 million plus abortions. Good job ladies.

  8. Hypocrisy

  9. Because most women are selfish and believe that men can do all that by themselves. What it is really about is control! Most wome can't stand it that they don't have control when everything is supposed to be equal!

  10. Feminists aren't actively working AGAINST men.

You might as well ask why the NAACP isn't working for the rights of Anglos.

The answer is simple:  They don't need it.

  11. Hypocrisy and double standards.

  12. First, the number of cases of men getting battered by women are small, or go unreported that makes the stats appear very low. There are many more Rape and Abuse Prevention Shelters all across the country that cater to just women who have been abused and need a place to stay. The majority of these shelters do not allow men inside.

To define "feminism" as seeking equality for all genders. Because, as someone has said, "I believe we really need to focus on equal rights for all individuality, instead of keeping the issues separate." If all genders were considered as equal as everyone else, they would be no need for feminism.

Equal Pay for everyone that does the same job, Women would not lose their reproduction rights, no sexual discrimination or sexual abuse. It would not make "men" less than "men" it would allow balance between all races, creeds, lifestyles, color of skin, culture, etc.

If people started to recognize that every human being is equally valuable, discrimination would cease. Maybe that what was Dr. Martin Luther King was striving for in his "I Have a Dream" Speech.
