It is pretty hard not to think of something as right though it is wrong when it is expanded like a religion.

People have been brainwashed to accept it as right no matter what it does. You don't have to look far to see all the sexism againt men: VAWA, sexist divorce judges, no abortion rights for men, etc.

It's always nice to hear:

"Your failures are not your fault... The only reason you're not making more money is because of discrimination and not your own personal career choices... You're just as strong as men and anyone that tells you otherwise is sexist... You deserve the right to opt out of parenthood, but don't worry, your man will be forced into it and then forced into paying you for 18 years..."

...and so on and so fourth.

I can understand why some women would buy into that.  It must make a person feel good that they always have a fall-guy and someone to point their finger at when things don't go your way.

Scapegoating men is a lot easier than dealing with your own personal bad decisions and failures.

So I think it gives women the empowerment they crave to have a group blowing sunshine on femininity 24/7 and enacting special laws that give women advantages.

I happen to think that'd be pretty intoxicating.

It's not wrong if you ignore all the lies and myths that the detractors make up to woo the audience.  It is all about equality for men and women and a lot of men don't like to give up their privledge.
