  1. Although Kimi to be the reigning champion, Ferrari know that Massa is fastest, In the last seven racings of this season, Kimi made just 37pts, and Massa made 48 ... I believe that Ferrari wanna have two champions in the next year.

  2. If it rains again it sure won't be Massa.

  3. Massa is their only choice between the two, Kimi is not going to stay around long enough.

Not taking that into account Kimi may not look like his best self lately but he's still considered more reliable I guess and on occasion faster than Massa and fast enough in general.

  4. If it did come down to a straight choice, then I don't think that Kimi would have any worries.  He is the better driver, and Ferrari know it.  The numbers show it really.  He could well be leading the Drivers Championship right now Hamilton not driven into the back of him in Canada.  The fact he is still favourite to retain his title, despite being in what is effectively a 3-way tie for first, sums up that there is a general belief he is the better driver.

I would be surprised if Ferrari were actively trying to change either of their current drivers though.

  5. Kimi gets paid a lot more than Massa, and so he should be winning more - but he ain't is he? If Ferrari can negotiate a deal with Alonso (or Vettel or Rosberg or Kubica or whoever) and pay him less than they pay Kimi, Ferrari will be laughing. As much as I would want to see Kimi and Alonso in the same team, the big people at Maranello probably wouldn't want to cough up the cash to accomodate the two. Massa is a good value for money.

  6. Kimi. He is the more consistent driver. And although he looks like he's not bothered by things, he is very serious when it comes to racing. Massa tends to have a few rubbish races and then a few superb ones. It's hard to tell what to expect from Massa on  a race weekend.

  7. the answer depends on a few things, first being weather its true at all, but assuming it is, then it still depends on who the new hire is, if its Alonso then kimi is out, the world has seen how Alonso feels about sharing the spot light with his team mate, and i don't see Ferrari paying for two world champions, however if its vittel or rosberg then massa is out, both of these guys could stand playing second fiddle while their talent is developed, kubica I'm not so sure of, he has won a race with a lesser team and has grouped more podiums than most would have though 3 years ago, and could very well command top ranking on the team, but he is still a junior driver with less trophies than kimi, tough to call on him

  8. Who did you say the reigning champion is?  Dude, the answer is obvious.

  9. LOL...LOL......LOL!!!(infinite amt of LOLz)......let me tell you this question shouldn't have arised first of all!! bt now when it has arised i would like to answer it(i want those 2pts!! hehe!!...)

first of our Felipe baby is just hanging on and ferrari are almost on the verge of kicking him off(he was just an replacement for Rubens...let me clarify before u draw conclusions tht not because no 1 is was as talented as him but no driver was free[of their contract] at that time)...especially after his brilliant stunts at silverstone where he displayed his amazing off road abilities and abilities of doing 360's in the middle of the race(phew!! he spun 7 times tht too driving a top teams car like ferrari!!!) that too not even touching the other cars who were buzzing past him at the speed of above 200km/h(u need a lot of courage for that)...the list doesnt end here he also shocased his brilliant stunts at Monaco (monte-carlo) too the stunt of sliding your car out of the track(that too when you are leading and you have the other person...5 secs behind u...you cannot say he was under pressure) and loosing the lead...which was later taken by a deserving Rober Kubica(ya...hamilton wont the race...thats a difrent story...)...there are many more...i will be tryin to put most of em in my blog soon...

and now you are comparing him to kimi...let me tell you if 2moro Max Mosely says that there will be only  1 car and 1 driver representing a team than scuderia-ferrari wont think twice before asking Kimi to drive their only car on the grid!!!

and now somebody added 2 thumbs down rating 2 me lol!!

and some body down is sayin massa's the only choice as kimi's going to leave....there are better new commers than mass and also better people in the present grid...if kimi leaves...alonso in no time will surely take his place...or sebastien vettel is also a hot property...,bruno senna's der...man F-1 is really big and fast ders no place(esp.in ferrari) for ppl like massa who are repeatedly making mistakes and losing their positions to the rival teams...and again its the race that matters not the qualifying...drivers and teams get points for race wins not qualifying poles!!!!

  10. i prefer kimi. he made 5 fastest laps to date.. bla bla bla n seems, he got better luck than massa.. lol

  11. I feel Kimi has nothing to fear about his position in Ferrari especially from Massa. Massa simply doesnt belong to his league. F1 needs consistent performances unlike Massa. Massa is fast but only in small patches has he been able to maintain his pace. He also has a problem maintaining his concentration, so vital in F1. Also Massa's weakness was obvious in the rainy conditions as seen in Silverstone. Iceman Kimi will be my choice.

  12. If they had to choose between the two, there is a higher probability they would want to retain the services of the current world champion, Kimi Raikkonen.

  13. .

If they are going to choose then I would think KR over FM.
