If first love is the strongest...?

It is often said that your first love is the strongest and most powerful. If that's true, it means all future loves will not be as strong.

So in a sense, aren't we just settling in future loves? Because even if we find 'the one,' the love will only be a fraction of what could have been..

somtimes u fink u love som1 but then u change ur mind.... i dont fink thers even such a fing as a first love because u relly dont know if u r in real actual permanent love wid som1. u mite say yes u do.... but no. because u cant predict da future.

At the time you have your first love it might seem strong. It is powerful because you have no frame of reference for it.

However as you mature future loves become much more meaningful and important to you. That first love is something you look back on and think how lucky you are that you waited for the love that came later.

First love seems meaningful at the time it happens but most of the time it is just lust trying to look meaningful.

Don't be fooled by that first love stuff. Learn from it and move on to find the love that will last a lifetime.

Nope. My first love who i thought I loved, I cringe when I think about him now...he was horrid!
