well if this is some kind of philosophical question I,de say

flowers are all colors because it is by nature and we have no say  in it and the same goes about the sea but what the h**l is a black man -made material green?  

man can not change the nature of things but man can change their own deeds but it will be like a layer of coats.

Green is in the minds of people studying environment. If there is anyone whose country is not green except his/her blackboard, come to my country, Nepal, to watch green, green, green................................... and green.

A blackboard is not green...that's a slate board (or chalk board) but for the lack of discipline (better yet, being lazy), it's called a blackboard....just like calling every soda a Coke when in fact there's a difference.

White/Green is easier on the eyes and White/Black. The lower contrast reduces eye strain.

The shale rock thats used in it( i think )when it was mixed with other chemicals to make it last longer and preserve it, it also turned to a green hue

green is a color that soothes the eyes kinda helps the eyes. since teachers lecture a lot and write stuff on the board the green actually helps the eye.

Blackboards are made from slate (which is a type of sedimentary rock). The color of the rock is determined by the the minerals formed with the slate.... biotite results in black slate and chlorite can create green slate, which is why some blackboards are green.

Traditionnaly blackboard was BLACK when people used to use chalk, now markers have changed it. the greenboard is often called as greenboard/blackboard

It makes it easier to see the chalk writings.  Some of them are black.  My daughter has a white erasable board in her classroom.
