Well, the ancient Greeks tried to personify this in their gods.  They broke it down a bit though:

Artemis (goddes of the hunt), and Demeter (goddess of grain and harvest) were both portrayed as being quite thin.  Dionysus (god of wine) was quite a pudgy fellow.  Here is a link if you want to read about them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_gods

In my opinion?  If food were a man he would be a fat man or a dead man.  Gluttony has its price, you know.

You only have to look at the majority of morbidly obese, coke swilling, burger munching, hummer driving Americans, to know the answer to that.

If man A eats a proper diet with lots of meat, he should be fine.

If man B lives on spinach & silmilar, he will never be overweight.
