  1. I realize you are trying to solve a problem and find f(x+2).  That is either the strangest last name I have ever seen or you are posting in the wrong place.

  5. Just substitute x + 2 for x

    f(x + 2) = (x + 2)^3/((x + 2)^2 - 4)

    f(x + 2) = (x^3 + 6x^2 + 12x + 8)/(x^2 + 4x + 4 - 4)

    Simplify

    x^3 + 6x^2 + 12x + 8

    ---------------------------- This is the final answer.

    ..........x(x + 4)
