If gas prices NEVER come down ?

Question

What OTHER options of transportations would you choose since the gas

prices arent lowering? Its possible it could go up to $20 (then WHAT- people).

Time for a backup plan quick, any advisors/challengers out there?

Though I love my gas friendly car, I also love my bike. In my opinion, let the prices rise; it will encourage more people to ride bikes and use public transportation. It would also be nice if hybrids were more affordable!

That's why God gave us two legs.  Walk/jog/run, bike, skates, ect.

Lower my expenses in other parts of my life, and buy a fuel efficient, perhaps hybrid car.

BTW, no financial analyst would suggest that prices will come back down. Virtually every major bank or respectable analyst is saying prices will go up, stay up, and possibly double by 2012.

A bicycle with snow tires for the winter. I'm glad I'm retired. I don't have to go to work and pay the outrageous prices for gas as often.

Gas in Sierra Leone is $18.42 right now. We have one of the cheapest places to buy gas.

The government has been resisting this for too long due to pressure from the car companies.
