I don't think I can give up much more and still call it living.I would then have to call it existing. We started making cut backs on everything months ago and it has not helped one bit now.Any savings I see goes for food and gas increased prices.I have a question, how are we susposed to keep the economy afloat if you are only spending your money on two items? That being food and gas. What about all the other services out there? You know the flower shop, hardware, video store, fast food, dog grooming.ect.I am having a real problem trying to figure this one out,I am sure many others are too.Just a thought.

  18. don't know about drastic measures , but I know what has happened so far.

    1) Am looking to become a CNA so that I will be able to have stability in my job, and be able to work in town at the care center rather then commute 34 miles each day.

    2) Growing food so that I can have fresh fruit and veggies, that helps cut down on costs at the store for food

    3) Carpool with a friend to costco to fill up tanks and stock up on paper goods, ect

    4) limited trips to anywhere - much more combining trips

    5) Netflex through the mail rather then movie theater or driving to video store

    6) walking more then ever with family. To the park, library, school - small town is great for that.

  19. thinking about getting a moped or even riding my bike to work
