  1. " Genes remember our past? " You are very confused!

Try this thought experiment. A certain population of variant people have a genetic mutation that confers an advantage in cognitive ability which leads to reproductive success for some of their members. This genetic combination is driven into fixation in the population gene pool, thus future generations are more like their ancestors.

This is how the genes " remember " the past.

  2. Nothing can justify the witch trials, Inquisition, colonization, etc. But good and bad people are everywhere.

    But,....

I guess it depends on which society in Europe you are looking at. Earlier on in Europe (or places close to it), before the Ice Age,  brown and olive skinned people of African and Asian descent lived there. Euorpeans (as a people) are fairly new. It went African--->Asian--->Arab---> Austronesian and Native American---> and then European. Blonde and Red hair and blue/gree/grey eyes are recent phenotypes. And are for cold icy  weather. Everybody before was tropical, dark, and tan.  But some populations got trapped in the area called Europe when the the ice age began and people changed. And they had to adapt to the rough environment.

This is all I can tell you.

    Nice donuts.

I do not know any one who was around in the cave man days. Nor would I want to know them, because cave people were brutal. But there are good and bad people wherever you go.

  3. Yes but they have evolved into multi-level models now with dining and recreational rooms.  The people are the same

  4. I seem to have a vague recollection!

  5. Most of these guys think of this subject as supernatural and thus laugh it off but there is something in your premise. This would explain why some people think that they have lived past lives and how some savants/artist have the abilities they do. It is so frustrating to some who have had events called "supernatural" happen to them to be brushed off. How are we ever going to advance when science refuses to acknowledge anything except the concrete. I have had dreams that I believe were of moments from my ancestors lives and yes, one was of going to a cave where a witch lived in order to receive money to fight some enemy. I would guess that interest in torture goes up as happiness goes down, inverse relationship. That just a guess and no intent to imply anything.  I'm too busy with my own backyard to wonder about things miles away.  Thanks, I liked the question.
