If ghosts don't have eyes or ears then why chant to get them to go to the other side?

I was told by a someone that ghosts don't have eyes and ears i think it's poppycock i think they hear see and tend to mess with us living folk i think you have to talk to get them to the other side. supposedly they don't know their dead. i am fasinated by the paranormal . if your a paranormal investigator or phycic (not spelled right) would love to tell my expeirences and to hear yours

Ghost are probably remaining electro magnetic forces from an individual. The other side is no more than the dissipation of these emf. Ghost are too attached to the environment that is also filled with emf's of all things that move that they will not leave or dissipate.

Good question. How can physical phenomena influence a non-physical entity?  I hear a lot of "advice" on here about talking to ghosts in order to convince them to leave.

Frankly, not a whole lot makes sense in the world of the paranormal enthusiast, in my opinion.

Where did you learn this notion from?  If the spirit or ghost had eyes and ears when they where alive, what makes you think they wouldn't have them when they are deceased,and are presenting their-selves as spirits? My, My, My. Silly stuff. One night ,about three-forty-five am, I awoke eye to eye with the spirit of our sister, whom was murdered a year earlier. (At least I presumed it was her) It was so close to my face, it was like ,really CLOSE. The Ghost had eyes and ears, a nose and lips to. I could see the pupils in the eyes,the lines on the lips even. The Ghost turned It's head one way, then turned it the other way,like it was studying my features.Scared the sh-- out me! I hope you now know that they do have ears,eyes, noses,lips, the only difference is you can see right through them. Bye.

I don't chant myself - I mentally communicate with them.  I think chanting really irritates them!  They are just an energy form - they can see and hear in a way we cannot begin to understand...

since the beginning of humanity,or humanity gathered as a civilization,things like the one you mention are part of the

rituals of the dead in different cultures,i mean if that if what you are referring of,but because you said ghosts ,that is not the case,so where does this happens?

Honestly i do not know if Ghost can hear or see. I have seen some that do not appear to even know anyone is around and some that seem to interact with those investigating. I have yet to see anyone out side the movies or television try and get a spirit to cross over. I have tried talking to spirits but never got anything indicating they were talking to me personally. i have recorded EVP's and heard voices but they were not talking to anyone directly. Now I have never heard these voices outside of using a recording to pick it up.

Investigating is like any other type of research and that is a search for answers. i feel i have witnessed enough to keep investigating. There are always new equipment being invented to make this type of research gain better results. Although we who seek these answers are hated by many, we have the same right as anyone else to research what we feel is important.

Excellent question, it had me laughing before... (just your wording was funny)... but anyway,

I always ASSUMED that different types of ghosts could do different things... meaning, some could hear us - while others walked right past us without a word or anything... (this is pretty much what I believe).

My opinion about the whole 'contacting' them and 'getting them to the other side' - most of it is faked, or people are fooling around. I've never witnessed the actual thing so I don't know for sure if it IS real...

Someone before mentioned Electro-magnetic fields...  I figure, if ghosts often cause inteference with electrical 'stuff' - then they must have some sort of EM field around them. Sound and imagry probably IS distorted if the EM field is always present. But the question is, is the EM field something THEY use to 'travel' about - or do they have it present around their 'bodies'?

Where in the world (both of them!) did you get the impression that Paranormal Entities are Deaf, Mute and Stupid??? Chant??? What do you live, in a Buddist monestery??? I've never heard of such non-sence, even in the form of superstition or old-wives-tales. Even the "Korny-ist" of 50's Hollywood  horror flicks have Never indicated such a ridiculous idea. Some Ghosts actually inter-act with the living, talking with/to the living person in actually relating intelligent information! In my 30+ years of Paranormal Investigation I have to say that this is the very First Time I have ever come up against such a ludicrous notion. About 22 yrs. ago, in a 14th c. Manor house in Scotland, an invisible Ghost picked me up by the neck and, in my ear, told me to "leave". Which I did, of course. I have numerous EVP's (electronic voice phenomenae) recordings which I've collected on Ghost Hunts and Investigations through the years and most of it is composed of intelligent inter-action with myself or a colliege.
