If girls wear spandex in volleyball, why dont boys?

Girls wear spandex when playing volleyball because they say it is lighter and easier to move around in. Because that is true olympic and professional athletes wear spandex cycling, swimming, and running, both men and women. Why do men and women wear spandex in all them sports but not in volleyball?
