the real definition of a "prep", wtf are they called. help please

i sit here in AE jeans and a hollister top and have come to tell you i am one of the biggest nerds ever - band geek, computer nerd, and straight A's.  Labels are for soup cans, okay?

it depends on what clothing items they choose from there and how they mix and match them. they can be any style, vintage, prep, beach, sport, casual, tomboy, girly, just anything.

I wear some clothes from there and I don't think there preppy, prep I think means that you wear those clothes cuz u think there going to beee soooo cool in  them and wear too much make-up, but if you like the clothes there and u think it looks cute on u then I wouldn't call that person a prep.

your right thats a prep in my book. That might be who they are but they are preps.

Well, there's like 2 kinds of prep.

One is Ralph L., Tommy Hilfiger,, formal, private-schoolish prep.

The other one is short skirts and Hollister, A&E, A&F, etc...

i wear all those clothes, and hardly anything else. But i don't see myself  as really preppy sooo. It's just clothes what do you mean "what are they called?". It doesn't matter what clothes a person wears, you don't call them by their clothes branda. I just wear those clothes because they're really nice.

a poser who has no idea about what they really are inside so they just buy everything at the same stores. for lots of money.
