If given a form tomorrow to be an Organ donor,would you?

Question

This is for anyone who hasn't already signed a Donor card, however, if you are already a Donor THANK YOU, and if you have any comment to add please feel free to do so.This is important to me. Several of my friends recieved Donor transplants and are still with us, I'd like to go out and increase the numbers of Donors. We are in such serious need for millions more.I do not want to do something out of personal need, but to make a difference in the lives of others by educating people of it's tremendous impact to the sick and their families.Thanks for taking a minute to respond.

in Australia to be a donor you must fill in a form(like other-places i suppose)a new idea came up last week to make everybody a donor UNLESS they fill in a form saying they don't want too,i think that is a better idea as a lot of people want to donate but just don't get around to filling in the form.

but in the end a relative can decide

I too live in Australia and wouldn't be against everyone being a donor unless they asked not to be one. I would sign up to be one if offered but I am, like a lot of Aussies, too lazy/don't have the time to go and do it myself. It's like giving blood, I've always wanted to but never gotten around to it. I'm only 20 so there's stil time :)

Me, and everyone I know, carry donor cards.  It would be the greatest gift you could give.

And if anything we have, can be used for someone else, wonderful.  Good for you getting the word out.

its not like i'll need my organs after im dead. most likely they will be too messed up from partying neways, but ya, i would donate my body to save a kid who got hit by a drunk driver, or whatever the case would happen to be.

yes, if I can help another I would be honored. After all, once I am no longer alive why would I need it? Would love to help anyone in need.
