The problem with the global warming religion is that those who promote it and those who follow it failed history, geography, geology, physics and math. First we still lack some 10 degrees in average temperature before we reach that of the medieval warm period. We lack almost 15 degrees of the average temperature of the Roman optimum at the time of Christ. Second is the cry about melting glaciers, yes the sea level rose 11,000 years ago by about 300 feet, no it can not do that again. The estimates I have see is that if every bit of ice on earth melted we might get a rise of a couple of feet, at the most 5 to 6.

The gain if we really have global warming, no more tornadoes, no more hurricanes and no more starvation because we can grow crops farther north into the arctic at least in the summer months. What we really have to fear is the potential of global cooling like the little ice age or maybe a real ice age, then millions will die of starvation and disease’s like the black plague and others that devastated the world during the little ice age. So warm is good, but cold is bad, so please pray to whatever god you believe in for it to stay warm because if it does not millions will die.

It won't be a Hollywood movie style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.

Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

Dr. Stephen Hawkings believes the planets temperature will rise to 450 degrees and it will rain sulfuric acid.

Prince Charles says we only have 18 months to act before we past the tipping point.

Ted Turner states we'll be cannibals by the year 2030.

I would say that the majority of believers think we're doomed!!!!

The earth has gone through five mass extinctions (over 90% of the species die) over the past 650 million years. A few of these are attributed to global warming where the atmosphere turns to a poisonous sulfurous gas (this was not due to the asteroid hits). So it looks like it could just as easily boil or just as easily freeze due to an asteroid.

There is no question that the earth will go through a global mass extinction, and human kind could be made extinct. A likely possibility is that we poison the atmosphere with radioactive material. We've already started the process in Iraq where depleted uranium is vaporized through ammunition. The US armed forces have already vaporized a large percentage of the 300 tons of depleted uranium used in ammo in Iraq.

Chalk another one up for the profiteers in Washington D.C.
