  1. That's weather affecting the piffling area around where you live.  It is not snowing here, in fact it is unusually warm this evening. You are carefully confusing weather with climate.

    Scientists have been talking about global warming since 1896.  It was more than 30 years ago when I first heard about it and no, I have not seen Mr. Gore's cinematic presentation.

  2. Wow, in one fell swoop you completely destroyed the global warming argument.  I guess if we have snow in April that's more than enough evidence to dismiss global warming.  Pure genius.

  3. Global warming is not turning up the temperature on the oven. A increase of a degree or two is enough to upset the natural balance of things which is why we're getting such wacked weather for the past 15 years.

    Do conservitives attend school or just church? They're not the same you realize of course.

  4. Because it is "Global" warming not "Richard P's back yard" warming.

  5. There's supposed to be a brain between your ears. You obviously don't have one.

  6. Of course it snows. It's just that every year the temptiture gets higher by a few degrees. Then in places like Ant Artica and the North Pole, Ice Caps melt because of this. Pollar bears live on Ice caps. So they are loosing their homes and drounding. I saw a baby pollar bear dround to death on t.v. when his ice cap melted out from underneath of him. You don't want the pollar bears to die do you? They can't swim. I don't now how they got on an ice cap if they can't but maybe it's just the baby ones that don't know how. But if one species dies out then so does another because some species depend on eachother for food. It's a chain of life.

  7. Well considering it's snowing in winter; doesn't it tell you that something's wierd going on with our global climate?

    The model of the earth is not so simple as something without a feedback loop. we can't simply say that an increase in net global temperature will cause temperatures everywhere to rise. (phenomenons i am aware of it that more water will evaporate causing more rain; stronger wind speeds)

    p/s: a  very little known fact; melting ice will actually cool the planet;

    Anyway believe what you want; all i can say is that we only have only one planet currently habitable; regardless of wheter global warming is real or not; you should take care of your planet. After all you are probably going to die with the rest of humanity if some runaway effect happens. What profits a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his soul?

  8. because you touch yourself at night

  9. Newton's third law: every action has an equal and opposite reaction

  10. If you simply google: global warming, you will get a very logical answer to this. Al Gore is not the father of global warming. He's just one man. Do you honestly believe that Al Gore is behind all the fuss about global warming? The U.N. released a report this past week from a team of international scientists supporting the idea that man is largely responsible for the effects of global warming.

    Now, here's how it all works. With all the pollution from our cars, factories, etc. the earth's protective layer that helps prevent harmful rays and heat from the sun becomes pressured from the emmissions we let into the sky. The rising heat causes the ice caps to melt. Melted ice and more heat means more and cooler moisture in the sky, which forms lower (forgot the scientific term) clouds. Because those cloud formations are lower and cooler, we see more snow falling to the ground. Those things can eventually lead to climate change. Means that it snows in places not known for snow and snows during times when it normally doesn't snow.

    Global warming is a scientific issue, not a political issue. Even the government's environmental website (www.epa.gov) has evidence of global warming and how man has helped contribute to it. I hope you've learned something from reading this, and please let's stop acting like Al Gore invented the concept of global warming. There are people who have been studying global warming and climate changes for over 25 years, before we even knew who the h**l Al Gore was.

  11. Global warming means the overall average temperature of the earth is getting hotter. What this means on a local level is that the climate that you use to get is now changing. The amount of change will be more pronounced around the equator, but will affect everywhere. If you are a farmer, then you depend on seasonal rains to grow your crops, this will now change. More extreme weather events are expected, floods, droughts and storms. This makes it very difficult to grow food. Then there is the impact on other business and general society directly and indirectly. The level of the sea is also expected to rise which will make you homeless if you live near the sea or in low lying land. Then with the storms getting stronger events like New Orleans will happen again and a few more people left homeless.

    Now, if people continue to put profits before the environment then we will have millions of people without a home, few farmers actually able to grow anything and everyone feeling a bit hot under the collar. This is the perfect environment for a world war. So with the nuclear proliferation that is occurring and in one last attempt to hit back for the losing side a nuclear free for all will be unleashed signifying the climax of civilization and the inability of man to overcome greed as those that remain are sent back to the Stone Age.

  12. global warming isn't real.  It's just a scare tactic used by democrats to try to get people to support their cause of reducing our impact on the environment
