  1. the answer u r seeking needs a deeper level of the thinking. sometimes things mentioned in our religious books r of 2 levels, : surface & deep level. On the surface, Religions can puzzle us with such a question to come to thought and that is 4 surface thinking, BUT on the deeper level when a person considers religion as a whole not a part , he perceives the Truth of his reality. one must consider that after  and before the jewish religion  were and came other religions to comlplete the message God all mighty wants 2 reveal 2 humanity. Now if u beleive only in the jewish religion and u think that other religions r fake, then there is no answer 4 ur question, but if u beleive in that there r other religions as holy as the jewish one then u should consider what they say, christainity, islam, that we  all worship one God, we all beleive in that holey power that governs our existence, and what makes people special is their beleif in the essence of religion ie: that God is our sheperd , no one, no sect is better than the other only in his her beleif and application of such a truth. the race, the special race of humanity is one and beleives in one, is not able to kill , to condemn others. the special race should deserve their speciality with deeds and faith in the wisdom of the creation of religions, in the wisdom behind the creation of religions as how would people react wisely or wildly to what they perceive. The mind and heart r the most important in such cases.only humans were provided with such means "mind and heart" ie: to recognize their truth, and that is why the special people r the ones who use these means to reach the point of universal unity, That why enlightened people if u know see everything in oneness, one light.

  2. That's just what they believe, all races think their better than others. And no one here on earth can ever tell you what god is thinking so how can they tell you who he/she/it prefers?

  3. We cannot fully appreciate Gods thought process, so how can we understand why he does ANYTHING.  Jews were one of the first people who believed in ONE GOD (Monotheism) And Abraham, a member of the Hebrew or jewish culture, was a man of great faith or trust in God.  He made his life a living example of communication and service with God, and showed us how to make a spiritual commitment or have a covenant with God.

God bridged this gap through Christ Jesus.  He came for ALL.  So one could speculate, God sees us ALL, through the shed blood of Jesus, as his children.

And no one culture is meant to be "better" than another.  WE CREATE SEPERATION through judgement, classification of success and failure, differences in color or skin pigmentation.  We are all created in Gods image; he is spirit.

  4. Each culture thinks it is special. When we let go of the need to have a special relationship with God and between us, then we will truly be loving as God is.

  5. Jews are not a race; they are followers of a faith.  Anyone who follows the tenets of Judiasm is "a Jew," and is one of the Chosen People, so-called.

But of course that's only what the Jews say.

  6. White people are Gods special supreme race.  Everyone knows this already

  7. Lol don't take the bible to literaly.  It also tells us how to treat slaves and people could live to be 900.

  8. You can believe that if you want to.  But know that that would imply an anthropomorphic limited God subject to partiality, and favoritism, which isn't omnipresent, omniscient, or omnipotent, the way I have come to understand God.

  9. I guess you are talking about the Old Testament?

Or you are speaking to Jews.

He didn't choose them, he started with one, and then the rest either chose to be Jewish and follow him, or choose not to.

They are not a race.  They are an ethnic group.

He views everyone the same, and who is us?

  10. God creates an equality that can be discerned on the level of human nature, but the accidental qualities that inhere to that nature are unequal.

  11. No way, I think Christians of today inherit all the promises that the Lord promised to the Jews.

Some months ago I was proud & really thought Gentile christians were there to take our place but the Lord slapped me & said that is not wise of you my son. lol.......

The Lord love Israel its true but He being jealous has been so strict to the Jews..........but in Christ we are all Jews & heir with Christ.

  12. If a god made us all equal then we would all be equal,so it looks like we may be the product of some other force.

  13. People are people.

God chooses whom He will for what purpose He will.  Should He have chosen Egyptians or Turks?

The 12 tribes of His chosen people were His choice and we do not have understanding enough to make comment on this..

Don't forget, it is His chosen people who have rejected Him time after time, even to the point of murdering His Son.

  14. idk i think that the jews being his special race is in the bible. and the bible was written by a man. and god didnt write it. i bet the man added some of his thoughts too. i never heard the jews are a special race, i just know that isreal is a special place.  haha that ryhmed

  15. I am sorry where in the Bible does it say that all men are created equal?

That is part of the US Constitution not the word of God

No we are not all equal

God gave us free will and some of us are handicapped and some have special talents each of us are part of a whole

  16. Please understand that this is not as simple a question as it seems, and any answer is likely to upset many people.  Also, this answer is colored by my fundamentalist upbringing.  I could be way off...

When people refer to the Jews as God's Chosen People, they are referring to the idea that God chose the Jewish people to receive His Law.  He chose them because they were receptive to His Law, when others were not.  However, with Knowledge comes Responsibility.  Jews, according to the Old Testament, were held to a higher standard than the rest of the world, because of their knowledge of the Law.  When they obeyed it God blessed them, and when they broke it, He judged them quite harshly.

Along with the Law, came a Promise from God that the Jews would never be completely annihilated, and that the Messiah would be Jewish.

According to my understanding of the New Testament, the Jews at the time of Christ, became Lawgivers to the rest of the World (many will dispute this however).

As it seems to me, we are judged by God on individual merits, so one person is equal to another in Gods Eyes, but no matter what happens in the world, the Jews will remain.

  17. They are the chosen ones because they were chosen to go and tell the world about God. The one and only God.

Their ancestors were given the task of showing the rest of the world that the idols and myths we worshipped were false and that there is only one God. The God of Abraham.

In doing so they were given ten simple (do not confuse simple with easy here) commandments and were to follow them as well as the laws Moses gave them. These commandments we still follow to this day! The laws were not forsaken by the Christ's ministry, but rather were fulfilled.

The Hebrews were given prophets and judges, land and history to record what God wants of us. They were chosen to bring salvation through the Messiah to all the earth.

God never let the nation die. Even now with the millineums of hatred and adversity on their backs; they still survive and wait on the Lord God. But they rejected the Messiah that God sent them, as the prophets said they would. Still they are the ones chosen to teach us of God and the history and prophets show repeatedly the love God has for them. Over and over, again and again they rebelled against God and everytime He forgave. That shows us how much He loves us. He did not contain His love to the Jews only. Jonah was sent to Ninevah to preach of God's love for them and to repent for their sake or God would put an end to them. Jonah hated them and refused because he could  see that God would do for them (these gentiles of Ninevah) great things and wonderful forgiveness if they repented and Jonah did not want this. God did.

God was just as interested in the gentiles then as He is now. It seems that the cornerstone the Jews rejected has been accepted by the gentiles and still God shows His love for them and us.

They are the first teachers of God's existence. All of their history shows their lessons of God's mercies, and all of their prophets have shown both them and us the Messiah. The Messiah has come and fulfilled the prophecies and He will come again. Even though the ones chosen and charged to teach us this are the ones who reject the Christ they are still loved.

It just goes to show you how faithful God is towards us regardless of our faith towards Him.
