  1. We haven`t  evolved from modern day monkey/gorillas/chimps, but rather we have some common ancestors.

    What we will evolve into depends on the nature of the evolutionary pressures of today and of the future. Difficult to predict..


  2. No, they will not evolve into humans.

    However, humans are still evolving.  Some of this evolution is in response to diseases.  For example, the hemoglobin S gene evolved as a protection against malaria if the person is heterozygous for the gene.  

    I suspect that there is evolutionary pressure towards resistance to HIV in areas where it is common.

    No, they wouldn't evolve, barring some genetic mutation that makes them intelligent enough to knock us down.

    As far as us evolving, natural selection has essentially stopped for us.  If anything we might regress.  Modern medicine and technology are making it easier for genetic disorders to survive.  We may have to be careful about that and control how we procreate, but eugenics is a terribly touchy subject.
