  1. Are u talking about tax?

    If so the tax usually depends on what your personal income is and will be separate. Here in Australia the system may be different though.

  2. No, it will be one check that is made out to both and will require  endorsement by both.

  3. If you opt for a paper check, one check will be issued in both names.  Both of you will need to endorse the check in order to cash it.

    If you opt for direct deposit of your refund, you may choose to split the refund among up to 3 separate accounts.  As long as at least one of your names is on each of the accounts that you have the money sent to there won't be any problem with the ACH transfer of your refund money.

  4. No, you'll get one check, with both names on it.

    If you got a rebate check for $600 and thought it would be $1200 total for the two of you, you were probably mistaken in the amount you were entitled to, and got $300 each for a total of $600

    Your stimulus payment is based on your net federal income tax for 2007. If your tax was between $600 and $1200 on your joint return, you get back everything you paid. If your tax was less than $600, you get an even better deal, and get $600, even MORE than you paid in. If you paid over $1200 though, your rebate is limited to $1200.

    Your net income tax liability is one of the following depending on which form you filed:

    · On Form 1040, the amount shown on Line 57 plus the amount on Line 52;

    · On Form 1040A, the amount shown on Line 35 plus the amount on Line 32; or

    · On Form 1040EZ, the amount on Line 10.

  5. In the United States if you file joint the check can come in both of your names or you both can choose to have it come in either name depending on whether you are filing electronically or not. Also, depending on if you want it back quickly as in a Refund Anticipation Loan from a bank which will charge a fee for the expedited service and you have a choice of being jointly or individually responsible for the loan....
