If i'm buying a 2008 why should i get it from a dealer's lot instead of ordering off the auto makers site?

we're looking into a hyundai accent and there are a few in the area but none are a decent color with the options we want. does it cost more to order straight from hyundai?

  1. I know a lot of car companies stop making the 2008 models right about now.  They are retooling to make the 2009's and get them into the showroom, so when they are announced, the dealers have some to show people.

    The costs should be the same whether you order or buy on the lot.  A lot of times you can get bigger discounts on the cars that are on the lot.

  2. All new cars has to go through the dealership.  The only exception are cars sold through AUTO MALL.

    Car factories do NOT deal directly with the public.
